Glass Jar Craft Roundup
On this week’s Creative Cynchronicity Live, Wed. August 29th at 9 pm Eastern, I’ll be demonstrating a variety of crafty things you can do with glass jars! Start saving up those jars or scope some out at a flea market and get ready for some pretty projects. Just to whet your appetite for what’s to come, here are a few of my favourite glass jar craft projects:
1- Crafts by Amanda makes delicate feminine looking luminaries from burlap, doilies, and jars.
2- Mod Podge Rocks has this pretty faux stained glass technique for decorating jars!
3- Carolyn’s Homework shows us a technique for making faux cranberry glass. Do a search on her site for other great jar ideas such as making beach glass and faux milk glass.
4- Pure and Noble gives us a way to make raised writing on jars that’s quick and easy to do.
5- Jaderbomb made this great candle cover from drinking straws – would be fabulous to use on old jars as well!
6- This Old Chair shows us how to make the oh so trendy apothecary jars from old jars and painted candlesticks.

For more inspiration, I’ve created a Glass Jar and Bottle craft board on Pinterest AND be sure to check out my live webcast on Wednesday night. Just sign in and watch from your computer – no mic or cam needed! Can’t join me live (we have lots of fun chat with other crafters and you’ll have the chance to ask any questions you might have right then and there!) ? I’ll post a replay link here following the show.
